The city of Hyderabad abounds in public and private cultural organizations, such as state sponsored dramatic, literary, and fine arts academies. The public auditorium, Ravindra Bharati, provides a venue for state sponsored dance and music festivals. In addition, food festivals are also held regularly at places like the Country Club, coffee shops and Restaurants in five-star hotels.

Hyderabad has a rich cultural heritage, which encloses within itself an amalgam of various religious and cultural communities. Most of the festivities are celebrated with a distinct hue that carries the flavour of the city.
