| Preparation
- Heat oil. Temper mustard seed in the oil and add Onions and let braise for one minute.
- Add Tomatoes, Chilly powder and Salt and let cook for two minutes.
- Soak Avarakklu overnight, boil till soft. Strain and retain the strained water.
- Roast and grind Uchellu, Chana dal and Coriander seeds.
- Add the strained water and let cook for five minutes.
- Add salt to taste.
