1 Day Itinerary

If you have come to the twin cities on a business trip, and have a day to spare for sightseeing, we recommend the following itinerary to get the best out of your stay.

As Hyderabad is a city known for its historic charm, it would be in place to visit primary historic landmarks that the city is well known for.

Out of the numerous landmarks, the majestic Golconda Fort should be the first on your list. Make sure you visit the Fort early in the morning – the cooler temperatures before noon should be encouraging enough to allow a visit to the summer palace on a steep hill.

While in the vicinity, a visit to the palatial Qutub Shahi Tombs to the north of the Fort is in order. If you are an Archaeological buff, make sure you stop over at the Archaeological Museum on your way to Charminar to the south-east.

You may also want to pass over Purana Pul towards Mecca Masjid. Charminar happens to be just north of Mecca Masjid.

You may want to spend the rest of the evening browsing through the wares on display for sale in the romantic Laad Bazaar and other bazaars around Charminar.
