Dhola-ri-Dhani, an ethnic Rajasthani village, is located 11 kilometres from Paradise, and 13 kilometres from Secunderabad on National Highway 7 and is occupying 14 acres of land. It is recreating the magic of cultural treasures, ancient splendour, and glorious past. You can experience the rich cultural heritage of ethnic Rajasthan live at Hyderabad. You can make every celebration work for you. From get-aways to get-togethers, private parties to corporate seminars, jagrans to dinners, kitty parties to AGMS. The Majestic entrance opens the door to a world of folk love and culture, an Ethnic fantasy, a culmination of the images and dreams of visitors to experience the true Rajasthani life style. In the evening, the whole village is lit up with 2000 lanterns and village fair goes on with complete zest.
“Dhola” is as popular lover name in Rajasthan. There are many star hotels and other places named after him in Rajasthan. The story goes like this - Sujanghargh was a small kingdom in Rajasthan, ruled by Nala and Damayanthi. They waited long time for children. After all the anxious waiting, they were blessed with a son Dhola. At the same time, the neighbouring king was blessed with daughter Maru. As per the tradition, the marriage between Dhola and Maru was fixed at the time of birth. After some time, Dhola was married off to another princess forgetting the oath. Maru was waiting for Dhola.
Dhola comes to know about the oath and agreement given by his parents and sets off to meet Maru. In the process both Maru and Dhola die. They are considered as popular lovers in Rajasthan. Dhola-ri-Dhani was named after him. Dhani means village. It is a lovers village.
This ethnic village was conceptualised by Shri Mahendra Agarwal of Dhola-ri-Dhani and was designed by Prof. Chimaya Mehta of Jaipur University. All the material & items used in Dhola-ri-Dhani were brought from Rajasthan.
Rajasthan in Andhra Pradesh is what you will see here in Dhola-ri-Dhani. This will give you all the experience you can get when you are in Rajasthan. It is an ideal place for film shooting too with perfect settings and beautiful locations as required for a good film. Many super hit films like Kanyadanam, Sivayya, Suryavansham, Chandralekha, etc., have been shot here. No wonder then that this place is being visited by many people and is also a major locale for film shooting.
You will get to see many Rajasthani dolls at the entrance. Dhola-ri-Dhani welcomes everyone with a welcome drink. If VIP's and important personalities visit this village, they get a traditional trumpeting welcome in Rajasthani style with pagdi, rose water and tilak ceremony.
Like any other Rajasthani temple, the open-air temple Quadra angle provides a serene atmosphere and it has specially made chatris at corner and centre. It is best for holding religious festivals, wedding ceremonies, jagarans (chanting mantras/ slokas/ god name throughout the night) & pooja with all the spiritual touch.
A grand pool Quadra angle with beauty of Rajasthan spread all around you. The beautifully laid out swimming pool with cool breeze invites you to splash off the summer in style. The pool is of 65 feet by 53 feet in measurement. The depth ranging 3 feet to 12 feet. The charges are Rs.50/- for adults per hour and Rs.25/- for child per hour. Coach is available to guide you all the time. They provide tyres for learners.
Greenery is what you find in a typical Rajasthani village around you. The lush green large, spacious & cool lawns at once floor you. It exclusively designed for get-together, wedding receptions, large banquets, annual general meetings, and melas (carnival).

The conference hall by the name Tabshila can easily accommodate 250/300 people with complete accessories like microphone, podium, projectors, carousel, slide, overhead screen, with VCR music channel and special lights. The large conference hall with the perfect ambience for making your meetings, seminars, AGM’s, parties, or just get-togethers is a great success. It is equipped with all the required furniture in Rajasthani style and infrastructure for the meetings, not allowing you to forget about the ambience.

You will never leave Shilparama, a mini handicrafts shop with crafts depicting the Rajasthani culture, with empty handed. You will really be amazed at the range of products including handicrafts, oil paintings, wooden items, white marble statues, Rajasthani cloths, etc., on the display. Members are also allowed to display their handicrafts. Discounts are given to customers on special occasions.
You can get a taste of royal Rajasthani chowki style dining hall in the basement with exotic Rajasthani cuisines and a tastefully decorated restaurant "Sangri" on the top floor. They are specially designed to host kitty parties, family get-togethers, club meetings, and informal gatherings.
Caters noodles, manchuria, bhel puri, dhai papad, cut mirchi and soft drinks at extra cost.
