 The Public Gardens at Nampally, in the heart of the city, accommodate the Assembly and Jubilee halls, Ajanta pavilion, Health and State Archaeological musuems.
The Jawahar Bal Bhavan is also located here.
 A visit to the State Archaeological museum is a must if you are interested in pre-historic sculptures, inscriptions, coins paintings and textiles. A well preserved mummy and the world's smallest Koran are known to be here.
